Sleeps: Really well!  8:00pm – 3:00am, nurses for about fifteen minutes, then sleeps again until 7:30 – 8:30am or so {yesterday it was until 10:15am!}.  Some days he still wakes up between 5:15 & 6:15am to nurse, but overall, sleep with this three month old {compared to my other three kids at this age} is great!

Naps: Jacob takes catnaps in the morning, although he is starting to take one longer nap usually around 9:00ish and one really long nap each afternoon {two to three hours} when Andrew goes down around 12:30.  He will usually take a brief nap around dinner time as well.

Eats: on demand, breast milk only.  During the day he still nurses about every two to three hours.  At night he does the one quick 3am feeding and sometimes a 5 or 6am feeding.

Diapers: Size 2

Clothes: 9 month footsie pajamas {although they are getting tight already – what?!} and 6 month clothes for everything else.

Loves: snuggling, being worn in the Baby Bjorn or Moby, his pacifier, looking at himself in the mirror, tummy time, his sisters {they make him smile!}, smiling at Mommy, being outside

Does NOT like: Obviously when he is hungry, he’ll cry if I wait too long to feed him, but I can’t really think of anything he doesn’t like…

New this month: holds head up well on his own while lying on his tummy and being held upright, greater interest in looking at things {i.e. the mobile over his head}, lots of cooing and “talking,” tracking with eyes and moving head to follow things {i.e. Mommy moving around the room}, sucks on his hands

Best moment{s}: Snuggles before bedtime, “talking” to each other, and cuddling after bath time.  Jacob is hands down my calmest, happiest, easiest baby.  I love every moment I get to spend with him and can’t imagine life without him.  I can’t get enough of his smell, his chubby little rolls, his coos, his smiles, and his cuddles.  He is such a blessing and I am so thankful I have been entrusted to be his mama.

Most difficult moment{s}: Signing Jacob up for daycare for when I return to work in three weeks.  I feel great about where he will be, but the thought of leaving him and returning to work makes me feel sick 😦

Looking forward to: baby belly laughs {for as many smiles as we get, there sure haven’t been many laughs!}
