How far along: 27 weeks on Sunday, August 31, 2014 {hello third trimester!}
Countdown: 13 weeks to go
Gender: ???
Baby’s size: Baby is about the size of a rutabaga…a what?! {14.5 inches & 2 pounds}.
Weight gain: 22 + lbs.
Maternity clothes: Yes.
Belly button {in or out}: In.
Sleep:Hit and miss this week.  Andrew had one rough night the night before he woke up with a cold {great},thus so did I.  Eric and I also spent a couple of nights in Vegas for his little brother’s 21st birthday.  Our lovely neighbors decided to blast their music in the middle of the night prompting us to call security once, and then around 4 in the morning decided to have a yelling, screaming argument that lasted over twenty minutes, prompting a second call to security.  Needless to say, sleep this week wasn’t great, but it wasn’t due to the baby!
Best moment(s) this week: A fun dinner out at Panda Inn with Andrew, my dad, and my brother when the entire rest of the family was out of town on various vacations {we were the lucky ones who had to stay home and go to work}; the first weekend away with Eric, without kids in over two years; and the first USC football game of the season {fight on!}.  On the other hand, we had a couple of worst moments too.  Poor Andrew caught a cold after only four days back at daycare and Caitlyn somehow, somewhere caught some sort of flu and has been fighting a high fever all day today.  I am SO beyond not ready to go back to school and have all the fall and winter sicknesses begin.
Miss anything: Summer!  Not setting the alarm clock.  Relaxing.  Feeling no stress.  Time with my kids.  AND… I guess it would have been fun to have a drink with my little brother in law on his 21st birthday in Vegas!
Movement: Lots!  And bigger movements now too 🙂
Cravings: None.
Symptoms: None to speak of, except a night or two of minor acid re-flux.  It seems to have disappeared, though, so I am happy about that!
Queasy or sick: Not at all, pregnancy – wise.  I do feel like I am catching Andrew’s cold, however.  I am NOT ready for cold and flu season!
Looking forward to: Is it too early to say “Christmas break?”
