12 weeks

12 weeks
How far along: 12 weeks on May 19, 2014
Countdown: 28 weeks to go
Gender: ??? And it’s going to stay a mystery too.  We’ve decided NOT to find out the baby’s gender this time around until his or her birth date.  We didn’t know for number 1, but found out for 2 and 3.  It’s kind of fun both ways! 🙂
Baby’s size: Baby is about the size of a lime {about 2 inches long and around 1/2 an ounce}
Weight gain: According to my scale, 4 lbs., but the doctor’s scale will probably tell a different tale tomorrow
Maternity clothes: Yes and no.  I definitely feel better in maternity tops, but most of my regular pants and shorts still fit.
Belly button {in or out}: In
Sleep: Good.
Best moment(s) this week: Watching Samantha’s ballet recital and celebrating afterward with a family dinner out, then celebrating her birthday today with a family dinner and some good old-fashioned chocolate cake.  Also, letting the world know about baby 4 was pretty great ~ no more secrets!  Yay!
Miss anything: Nope
Movement: None, but hopefully getting close to that!
Cravings: None this week
Symptoms: I. AM. EXHAUSTED.  From week 10 to 11 and 11 to 12 I have been beyond exhausted.  I am SO thankful the whole first trimester hasn’t been like this {like it was during Andrew’s pregnancy} and am hoping with the arrival of wonderful week 12, the exhaustion will begin to fade.
Queasy or sick: Feeling pretty good as long as I have little snacks between meals.
Looking forward to: Hopefully hearing baby’s heartbeat at tomorrow’s 12 week appointment and feeling those first baby kicks.  Looking more pregnant and less fat will be great, too! 😉
I started taking weekly pictures with Andrew’s pregnancy, but then never kept up with it and then regretted it later.  I always feel so silly taking the “belly” photos, but I want to document this last pregnancy since I completely regret not doing so with the others!
