I am totally and completely loving being the mama of a new baby again. My little guy is so sweet. I am actually experiencing those moments I dreamed of while pregnant. You know, the ones when you dream of holding your little one while sitting in a cozy rocking chair looking down into his beautiful little face…
{If you’re a mama of a little one who is not providing you with those wonderful, peaceful moments, don’t hate me yet. My No. 2 didn’t give me many of those moments. In fact, there were maybe only two or three in that whole first year. SHE was a screamer. And boy could she scream. LOUDLY. Even when I picked her up. Even when she wasn’t tired, or hungry, or poopy. I think she had a competition going with herself to see how long and how loudly she could scream. And the thing was…she was FINE. All of a sudden, she would stop, and that was that. The screaming was not all, however. SHE DID NOT NAP. Not at all. Not ever. Not for more than a minute, unless I was holding her, driving her around in the car, or pushing her in the stroller. Not until she was over six months old. Honestly, I’m not sure how I made it through sometimes. She is on the other side now, and is the sweetest, cuddliest little girl ever. And yes, eventually she stopped screaming and started napping. If you have “one of those”… I promise, there is hope!}
…Needless to say, I am really and truly enjoying every little baby moment with No. 3. He is four months old already and time is going by WAY too quickly.

Weight: 18 pounds (98th percentile) Height: 26.5 inches (97th percentile)
Sleeps: about 8pm – 2am & 2:15am-6am
Naps: three hours each morning and one hour each afternoon
Eats: about every three hours {only mommy’s milk}
Loves: splashing in the bath, going on walks, being outside, his big sisters, snuggling with mommy, his play mat, chewing on his fingers, rolling from his tummy to his back, babbling back and forth with mommy and daddy, laughing
Wears: 9 month and 12 month clothes {and occasionally a large 6 month outfit} and size 3 diapers
Looking forward to: starting rice cereal this month, rolling from back to tummy {we’re almost there!}, and more!
